REVIEW: SodaStream

Once upon a time, I told my husband that we needed a soda machine in our house.

It was 3 years ago when we moved in...

fast forward to now and I have one!

Weird.

It's so much better than the kind in the convenience stores because it takes up so little space ;).

It seriously is awesome!

It's a SodaStream.



As soon as it arrived, me and my five-year-old went to experimenting,

then we called a few people to rant about it. 

And followed that with several soda parties-

Everytime someone new came over for a few weeks.

It is so EASY to make your own "pop" (as I like to call it).

 I am a Coke Zero drinker, and I've been known to tip back a few cans of RedBull ;) and the SodaStream version of both of these are definitely comparable to the originals.

The Diet Sprite passed my son's test.

and the Root Beer made a great float.

There was also a Cranberry Raspberry flavored one and I loved it.

I'm going to have to say that Fresca passed the comparison test too.

(though I need my Grandma to come test it out, b/c she is the Fresca expert around these parts)

I can't wait to order more to test out.

 I am also excited to clear up some space in my pantry which is usually full of 24 packs of Coke Zero & Mountain Dew.

Now all I need to store my soda is a little bit of counter space.

It seriously is awesome.

Even my hard to impress husband is a fan!

(Thats how I know for sure something is cool-if it passes the Arin Test...jk)

This makes life easier and better, by helping feed my addiction without having to load all the kids up to go to the convenience store! ;)

Also, a major point here, for all of my readers with food storage, this is the solution to the soft drink gap in food storage! For sure- All you need is water!

Seriously, who wants to survive without Coke?? not a world I want to be in... ;)

PS-I timed myself from start to finish, I made myself a soda in 1 minute 32 seconds :) so much faster and cheaper than running to a store.

REVIEW: Kiddie Catch-ALL

I have a minivan.

(Of course-right?)

I have 4 kids that get to ride in either a booster, a carseat, or an infant carrier.

Four kids who lose their drinks, pacifiers, toys, snacks, etc. on the floor of the minivan

Especially everytime I see a yellow light and have to slam on the brakes

-while my 4 yr old chants "yellow means WAIT even if you're LATE!"

-just trying to be the good example here...

Anywho, I hate listening to the kids scream everytime they drop something. I've had to pull over to get it many times, or unbuckle at the red light to reach as far as I can to get it, or begging my oldest to "unbuckle just for a second to get the dang sippy cup!"

(Mother of the year here)

I've seen these commercials on TV for the Kiddie Catch-All and I had to have it.

So I got it!

And guess what?

My monster of a toddler feels pretty special about it.

He actually uses it.

(Sometimes he gets pissed and throws it-but then my oldest just replaces it when he starts crying for it back.)

It is so useful!

and simple.

I'm going to say it's a winner.

Even if my naughty boy throws his occasionally, he can't deny that he really likes it.

My older kids are jealous, so I guess they each need one too.

And someday the ride to and fro will be serene and peaceful.

(yeah right-but this is actually helping a bit!)

I'm going to have to say that this product has the potential to make my life so much easier.  Can't wait to see how much better things are in a few weeks after using it more often and him getting used to it.

REVIEW: BabyLegs

It's been winter for a year it seems (especially b/c everyone in the family keeps being sick)
...but I have found a new staple around here.
Enter BabyLegs.

They are perfect!

They make snow days easier, b/c after putting on the coat and gloves, I slipped these over them both and the gloves actually stay on my 1 1/2 yr old! :).

Also, taking my 3 yr old to dance class at 9am in the middle of winter with snow on the ground is hard enough, but when she is freezing, it's really irritating. So I slip the awesome BabyLegs over her tights and ta-da! She isn't so "naked" anymore.

Also, my newborn can wear them with her dresses, she's warm enough to be wearing pants, and it's easier to change a diaper with these bad boys on than it is with tights.

I love my BabyLegs!

I can't wait to see how many different ways I can use them in the summer.

A few months ago they were having a big sale and I stocked up on them, and I've never looked back. ;)

This product makes like easier b/c they are easy to put on. And makes life better b/c they keep my kiddos warm, and adorable.

REVIEW & PROMO: fHg Designs Bib

For those of you who know how awesome the puking is that comes with an infant with GERD/Reflux, you know how important the bibs are.

 I have a bunch of ugly ones that cover up cute outfits. So I went on a hunt to find a cute bib to cover up a plain outfit.

For this purpose, I scouted and found fHg Designs.

I had the opportunity to review a bib and I chose the Amy Butler Baby Bib in Lotus.

It is SO DANG CUTE!

I'm pretty sure for most of the summer, my baby will be wearing this and a white onesie and will "out-cute" anyone.

This bib is so easy to put on, just slip it over the head.

It is big enough to actually catch the loads of spit-up and it has a super absorbent terry cloth back.

 I love it.

And it will work for her from newborn to toddler.

If my 23 month old slobber monster would leave it on, I'd be getting a few for him.

These are not your average ugly bib, they are a functional fashion statement.

REVIEW: Kidkraft Large Pastel Kitchen

For my daughter's 2nd birthday I really wanted to get her a play kitchen. I hunted and searched for the best quality and cutest one- One that could live in the main part of our house without being an eyesore.

I finally decided on the KidKraft 53181 Large Pastel Kitchen isn't it adorable?!

She turns 4 next week and the kitchen is still in tact and adorable.

(Once, my naughty monster toddler attacked a door and broke it off.

All I had to do is get online and order a replacement. Easy.) 

It is a classic that won't become outdated and ugly. It is more like a piece of furniture that we like than an ugly huge toy in the middle of the room :) I love it. I hope my second baby girl will love it in a few years. Both of my boys play with it occasionally too. It's perfect.

I do need to invest in some nice wooden food for it, because the plastic crappy accessories I bought at a dollar store, just aren't doing the set justice. ;)

It took me and my husband 2 hours to set it up one night after she went to bed. But it was so worth it. Look at that face ...

KidKraft Large Pastel Kitchen is a definite staple in our toyroom.

It entertains the kids- making life better, and when they are done they can hide toys behind the doors for a quick clean up-making life easier.

REVIEW:Suave 3-in-1

When I'm wrestling to bathe four young kids (sometimes three at a time), I don't want to mess with bubble bath, shampoo, body soap, conditioner. Who has that many arms? Or that much patience?? not me! I start the bath, dump some of this in for bubbles, throw the kids in, dump some of this on my hands, wash their hair and bodies. wa-lah! done and done. All with ONE PRODUCT.

I love this stuff. It makes my chore quicker and my life easier!
